Finderson Law is excited to welcome Mallory Eltzroth and Brayton “Bray” Schackow to our Fort Wayne team for the summer of 2026!
At Finderson Law, we believe that building a strong legal team means investing in people who are eager to learn, grow, and make a positive difference in the lives of others. Our internship program gives students an opportunity to gain meaningful professional experience while working alongside our attorneys, paralegals, and staff in a close-knit environment centered around helping our clients.
This summer, Mallory and Brayton bring two very different educational backgrounds to the firm, along with a shared enthusiasm for learning and serving others.

Mallory is entering her third and final year of undergraduate studies at Ball State University, where she is majoring in Speech-Language Pathology with a minor in Linguistics. She is also involved with the National Student Speech Language Hearing Association and expects to graduate in May 2027.
Mallory joined Finderson Law in May 2026 as a Summer Intern, assisting with incoming calls, scheduling, greeting clients, and providing administrative support to our attorneys, paralegals, and staff. Her passion for helping others extends beyond her work at Finderson Law. She hopes to eventually use her education to help patients improve not only their communication skills, but also their confidence, self-esteem, and overall quality of life.
Outside of work and school, Mallory enjoys reading, exercising, spending time with family and friends, going on walks, swimming, playing softball, and, of course, watching a good movie.
We are excited to have Mallory's positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to help as part of the Finderson Law team this summer.

For Brayton, the summer of 2026 marks another chapter in a relationship with Finderson Law that began in 2025.
Brayton graduated cum laude from Ball State University in December 2024 with a degree in Criminal Justice and a minor in Media. He went on to attend the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law in Indianapolis and is now a rising 2L as he continues working toward his goal of becoming an attorney.
Brayton initially joined Finderson Law as a summer intern while preparing for law school. Since then, his responsibilities have continued to grow. As a Legal Clerk, Brayton is gaining hands-on experience assisting with incoming client calls, case setup, and supporting the firm's attorneys and paralegals wherever needed.
For Brayton, pursuing a career in law ultimately comes back to a desire to help people. His time at Finderson Law provides an opportunity to develop his legal skills while seeing firsthand how attorneys, paralegals, and staff work together to advocate for clients and help make difficult situations easier to navigate.
Outside the office and classroom, Brayton enjoys swimming, football, rock climbing, and working out. He is also an avid fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes, Cleveland Guardians, and Cleveland Browns.
Internships are about more than gaining experience. They provide an opportunity for students and future professionals to see how their education translates into real-world situations, develop meaningful relationships, and learn from people already working in their chosen fields.
For Finderson Law, they also provide an opportunity to invest in the next generation while welcoming new perspectives and energy into our office.
We are proud to have Mallory and Brayton as part of the Finderson Law team and look forward to watching them continue to learn, grow, and make an impact.
If you see them around the Fort Wayne office this summer, be sure to say hello and help us welcome them to another exciting summer at Finderson Law!
