The Workers’ Injury Law & Advocacy Group’s 2026 Annual Convention wrapped up in Napa, California, yesterday, October 21st; a wonderful opportunity for up to 27 continuing legal education hours, national speakers, specialized educational tracks, and meaningful connections with advocates from across the country. WILG is the premier national organization for lawyers who help injured and ill workers and their families.
This was a momentous annual convention for several reasons: David Nomberg of the Nomberg Law Firm finished his term as President, passing over his gavel to David Menchetti, who will serve well in the new role. You can watch David's heartfelt year-in-review video on LinkedIn. Ben Gerber is now president-elect, Stephanie Tucker and Heather Long accepted the officership positions of secretary and treasurer. WILG has passionate and dedicated lawyers at the helm.
Most important to Finderson Law, this convention Roger Finderson officially completes his five years of leadership within WILG as he signs off as Immediate Past President, passing that cloak on to David Nomberg. Roger was presented with a President’s Award for his exemplary service to WILG as an officer and member for 2026. Roger served from secretary, treasurer, president-elect, president, and immediate past president within WILG, shouldering a variety of challenges, commitments, and victories in focusing on getting choice of care back to the injured workers of our nation.

It was an honor to serve this great organization and Roger looks forward to continuing to be of service to WILG in the future. If you happen to see him, be sure to congratulate him for the passionate dedication he has put forth for this organization over the last five years. Congratulations to all and we will look forward to the next WILG convention!
