Delaney is an associate attorney with Finderson Law, working within the fields of adoption, workers’ compensation, personal injury, wills, and Social Security Disability. She has worked for the firm as an administrative assistant (2014-2017), a receptionist (2018-2019), paralegal and medical records specialist (2019-2022), and became a legal intern until she passed the Indiana bar examination in late 2024. Delaney started out studying business at Jacksonville University, before COVID shutdown hit full force in 2020. Delaney graduated magna cum laude from Trine University in 2022, taking part in their “3+3” program. Trine was partnered with several law schools in Ohio and Indiana, making it possible for students to combine their degree paths, making their fourth year of their bachelor’s degree the first year of law school. Thanks to this fantastic opportunity, Delaney obtained a Bachelor of Arts in 2022 and a juris doctorate from IU McKinney School of Law in 2024, two degrees in five years. Delaney earned a graduate certificate in advocacy from McKinney and won the bronze award for pro bono volunteer work during her time as a law student.
Delaney is a state-certified guardian ad litem and court-appointed special advocate, volunteering with Marion County’s Kids’ Voice of Indiana. Delaney also is an Indiana-licensed notary, a member of the Indiana State Bar Association, Workers’ Injury Law and Advocacy Group, and admitted to practice in both federal district courts of Indiana.
During her free time, Delaney plays softball, video games, enjoys crafting, and spending time with her family and old miniature dachshund, Phillipe. She is currently studying for the Florida bar examination in 2025.
